Description
Food Preparation: Assisting the Chef de Partie in preparing and cooking dishes according to menu specifications and recipes, ensuring high-quality standards.
Station Management: Overseeing a designated cooking station, such as sauces, fish, meat, vegetables, or pastries and desserts, and maintaining cleanliness and organization.
Stock Control: Managing inventory and controlling wastage of ingredients, adhering to company standards.
Training and Development: Assisting in training Commis chefs and junior staff members, and participating in training sessions as required.
Hygiene and Safety: Maintaining a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations, and ensuring proper cleaning schedules are followed.
