Our 2024 Graduate Program offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated Graduate Electrical Engineer to join our Building Engineering team in the UAE. This role provides recent graduates with an electrical engineering background the chance to gain valuable experience at a distinguished multinational company and contribute to significant projects in the region. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of electrical power flow and distribution principles.
Key Responsibilities
Learn and use industry standard applications to carry lighting calculations and power distribution analysis for building engineering
Ability to use and develop spreadsheets to solve technical issues or automate production procedures.
Conducts engineering design under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
Creates designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
Coordinate design works with other disciplines under the guidance of an experienced engineer in a collaborative environment.
Initiate and commit to a self-learning process utilizing AECOM University inhouse extensive eLearning resources.
Collects and analyzes data under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
Uses computer software as a tool for solving basic engineering problems.
Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule under supervision.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, preferably with courses taken in Building Electrical Engineering related subjects from an accredited University
Candidates must be recent graduates, having graduated within the last 24 months or no later than September 2024, to be eligible for AECOM's Graduate Program.
Successful applicants must have achieved a minimum GPA of 2.7 or 2:1 (or equivalent) and above.
