Description
We are looking for a professional and friendly Front Office Staff member to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for guests, providing a warm welcome and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process.
Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, offering assistance with check-in and check-out procedures.
Manage reservations, room assignments, and maintain accurate records of guest stays.
Answer and direct phone calls, responding to inquiries and resolving any guest issues or concerns.
Process payments, including handling cash, credit cards, and other forms of payment.
Provide information about the hotel, available services, and local attractions.
Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance staff to ensure rooms are ready for guests.
Assist with special requests, such as arranging transportation, booking reservations, or organizing events.
Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, including managing supplies and brochures.
Handle guest complaints or escalate issues to the management as needed.
Monitor lobby activities, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
Assist in managing guest luggage and providing directions or information as requested.
Ensure compliance with all hotel policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a front office or customer service role is preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in using computers, including knowledge of hotel management software.
Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
A friendly and approachable demeanor with a focus on guest satisfaction.
Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
