Description

Responsibilities:
Packing and Packaging:

Preparing products for packing by inspecting and ensuring they meet quality standards.
Packing items securely into boxes or containers to prevent damage during transit.
Using appropriate packaging materials such as bubble wrap, foam, and packing peanuts.
Labeling and Documentation:

Labeling packages with shipping information, including addresses and barcodes.
Ensuring all necessary documentation, such as packing slips and invoices, are included with shipments.
Recording packed items and shipment details accurately.
Inventory Management:

Assisting with inventory control by organizing and managing stock in the packing area.
Keeping track of packing supplies and notifying supervisors when supplies need to be replenished.
Conducting regular inventory checks and reporting discrepancies.
Loading and Unloading:

Assisting with loading and unloading packages from delivery trucks or containers.
Ensuring packages are handled with care to avoid damage.
Organizing packages in the storage area or loading dock.
Quality Control:

Inspecting products for defects or damage before packing.
Ensuring that packed items meet company standards and customer requirements.
Reporting any quality issues to supervisors for resolution.
Safety and Cleanliness:

Following safety procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
Keeping the packing area clean and organized to maintain a safe working environment.
Properly disposing of packaging waste and materials.
Team Collaboration:

Working collaboratively with other team members to ensure efficient packing operations.
Assisting colleagues during busy periods and providing support as needed.
Participating in team meetings and training sessions.
Requirements:
Educational Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
Experience:

Previous experience in a packing, warehouse, or similar role (preferred).
Skills:

Basic knowledge of packing and packaging techniques.
Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
Good organizational and time-management skills.
Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in packing and labeling.
Physical Stamina:

Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
Ability to lift and carry heavy packages (typically up to 25 kg).
Personal Attributes:

Reliability and punctuality.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
Work Environment:
Packing helpers typically work in warehouses, distribution centers, or manufacturing facilities.
