Description

The Procurement Manager will be responsible for sourcing and procuring heavy equipment for rental services in the UAE. This role involves managing supplier relationships, negotiating competitive pricing, and ensuring timely availability of equipment to meet project demands. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in procurement, a deep understanding of the UAE market, and a proven ability to manage procurement processes for both short-term and long-term equipment rental needs.

Key Responsibilities:
Procurement Strategy & Execution – Develop and implement procurement strategies to source heavy equipment, ensuring cost-efficiency and timely availability for rental services.
Supplier Relationship Management – Build and maintain strong relationships with local and international suppliers, ensuring competitive pricing, quality, and availability of equipment.
Contract Negotiations – Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers, ensuring favorable conditions for the company.
Equipment Sourcing – Source a wide variety of heavy equipment, ensuring that the right equipment is available for the company's rental fleet across different project sites.
Inventory & Supply Chain Management – Monitor and manage the inventory of equipment and parts, ensuring that equipment is well-maintained and ready for deployment.
Budget & Cost Control – Oversee procurement budgets, track expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
Market Research – Conduct market research to stay updated on equipment pricing, trends, and new suppliers in the UAE.
Compliance & Safety – Ensure all procured equipment complies with local regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
Collaboration with Operations – Work closely with the operations and sales teams to understand equipment requirements for ongoing and upcoming projects.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in procurement for heavy equipment rental services.
Strong network of suppliers and a proven track record of procuring equipment at competitive market prices.
In-depth knowledge of the heavy equipment industry, procurement processes, and supplier management.
Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
Valid UAE Driving License (required).
Proficiency in English (Arabic is a plus).
