Description

Responsibilities:
Customer Service:

Greeting and seating customers in a friendly and welcoming manner.
Providing menus and making recommendations based on customer preferences.
Taking accurate food and beverage orders and conveying them to the kitchen staff.
Order Delivery:

Serving food and beverages to customers promptly and efficiently.
Ensuring orders are accurate and meet customer expectations.
Checking back with customers to ensure satisfaction and address any issues.
Table Maintenance:

Clearing and cleaning tables after customers have finished dining.
Setting up tables with clean linens, silverware, and glassware.
Ensuring the dining area is clean and well-maintained at all times.
Payment Processing:

Presenting bills to customers and processing payments accurately.
Handling cash, credit cards, and other forms of payment.
Providing accurate change and receipts to customers.
Communication:

Communicating effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
Relaying any special requests or dietary restrictions to the kitchen.
Addressing customer complaints and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
Team Collaboration:

Working collaboratively with other staff members to ensure efficient service.
Assisting colleagues during busy periods and providing support as needed.
Participating in team meetings and training sessions.
Knowledge of Menu:

Maintaining a thorough knowledge of the menu, including ingredients and preparation methods.
Being aware of daily specials and promotional items.
Advising customers on menu choices and answering any questions.
Upselling:

Suggesting additional items, such as appetizers, desserts, and beverages, to enhance the dining experience.
Promoting special offers and upselling high-margin items.
Requirements:
Educational Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
Formal training in hospitality or customer service (advantageous).
Experience:

Previous experience as a waiter or waitress (preferred).
Experience in a customer service role (advantageous).
Skills:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Good organizational and time-management skills.
Physical Stamina:

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Ability to lift and carry heavy trays and items.

Language Proficiency:

Fluency in English (required).
